Philadelphia to Pittsburgh: Cheapest Travel Possibility?
I am currently in Pittsburgh trying to reach Philadelphia in the cheapest way possible. I am familiar with chinatown buses between NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia and was wondering if there was anything similar between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

no. However Pittsburgh is a hub for USAir and they have many flights per day at a reduced rate if you can travel 14 days or more after buying your ticket.btw Gate to gate is roughly 1 hour.

Search all the Kayak.com, if you can deal with it. - I'm not a fan of it. Also check American, Southwest, and JetBlue who do not sell tickets except on their own website. John Wayne is the more expensive airport in the airport. Long Beach is less than 25mins from John Wayne and LAX is less than 45min. Ontario is also about 45mins but it's probably not as convenient.

People continue to ask this question everyday........There's no website that will ALWAYS be the "cheapest". If they tell you they are.....run the other way! That's why you have to shop around. Try to be flexible on your dates and times. If you can drive a short distance to a "less" busy airport, that might help save some money. Try to book your flight early am or late pm, that can sometimes save money. Weekdays are usually cheaper than weekends. Don't limit your search to only the "well-known" travel sites, most are owned by the same company -which mean not much difference in the price. It can trick you into thinking your stuck with their price.....So,be sure to check other travel sites otherwise you might miss out on a great deal. Think of these travel sites like grocery stores, they all "sell" the same thing. So, why pay more for the same flights those other guys are selling? About Best roads to travel to get from missouri to Pittsburgh Pa
Best roads to travel to get from missouri to Pittsburgh Pa?
i will be traveling from Rolla Missouri and i am trying to get to Pittsburgh Pa, i normally google map it and take that way, but i was wondering if there was a way to travel with less roads, so i could let my wife drive if you guys know what i mean..

I don't know what could be simpler than I-44 east to St. Louis, then I-70 east across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia until you reach I-79 North.

Help! How to use public transportation to travel from Columbus Ohio to Pittsburgh Ohio?
I know that they are in less then 2-hour driving distance. Unfortunately i don't drive. Could any one please help? Any kind of transportation would be fine, by bus, train, air....etc.....except self-driving. LOL Thanks a million!!!!

your best bet may be to get to Cleveland somehow. Columbus is more mid-west oriented while Cleveland is more rust belt / north east oriented. While Columbus doesnt support Amtrack (Cleveland does), there may be greyhound (or another company) bus service.

Go to www.priceline.com. They will allow you to check individual dates and give you a good idea of how much a ticket will cost when. Just don't wait until the last 2 weeks because tickets can double. I've seen it myself.

I find that possibly Februrary is your best bet. March you start getting into Easter holidays. I usually go directly to the airline sites and compare with either Orbitz or Cheaptickets.com to make sure that I am getting a good deal.
